Exponential ratio-product type estimators in stratified random sampling

In this study, exponential ratio-product type estimator of population mean in stratified random sampling without replacement is proposed. The expressions for bias and Mean Squared ErrorĀ  (MSE) are derived. Comparisons of the proposed estimator with conventional estimator among others for the entire strata showed that the proposed estimator is more efficient than the competing estimators as it possessed minimum variance and hence minimum coefficient of variations.
